The Miracle Lotion That Helped My Restless Toddler Sleep

Lack of quality sleep, hour-long bedtime battles, and constant nighttime wake-ups were causing lots of strife and chaos in our home. When a friend recommended a special “good night” lotion, I knew I had to try it. Little did I know, it would be a gift from God, and it can help your child sleep through the night, too.

My toddler was taking an hour to go to sleep and waking up constantly until I started using this lotion. It can help your child sleep through the night too!

I’m not one to make big claims about products. Honestly, I tend to be skeptical about most things. I’ll suffer through a lot before I shell out the money on something that *might* help it. And I didn’t think ANYTHING would help my daughter sleep.

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know of our sleep struggles. At 15 months, Selah still woke up between 4 and 8 times a night. Mama was so tired. Nothing helped. Not oils, not baths, not routines, not exhausting her, not taking cues…nothing. I resigned myself to being sleep-deprived forever.

I even wrote a journal to remind myself that God hadn’t abandoned me in my sleep deprivation. But I was struggling. I felt like parenting was sucking the life out of me, like my whole life revolved around getting my child to sleep. I wasn’t enjoying my baby girl, and that was killing me.

And then a friend recommended a sleepy time lotion. I had made my own and it hadn’t helped, but this one was fairly cheap so I figured I might as well try it.

It was the best decision I’ve ever made.

My toddler was waking up at least 4 times a night and taking an hour to go to sleep, until I started using this lotion. Now she sleeps all night!

Y’all, I’m not kidding. I’m almost tearing up as I type this, because it has literally changed our lives. Bedtime used to take an hour, and everyone was upset by the end of it. Now it takes 15 or 20 minutes. I can actually enjoy snuggling my toddler to sleep.

I used to be up at least 4 times a night with my little girl, sometimes more. Now it’s maybe once. By the grace of God, two days before my little girl turned 18 months old, she slept through the night for the first time EVER! That was about 3 weeks after we started using this lotion.

This was not possible without our miracle Good Night Lotion. Why does it work? Alongside just a few other natural ingredients, it contains a critical blend of magnesium and lavender.

Here’s something you might not know about sleep and the human body. When people have trouble sleeping, it’s because their body isn’t producing enough melatonin, the hormone that relaxes your body and encourages sleep. You can take melatonin supplements, but those can mess up your body’s natural production of melatonin even more. Thankfully, there’s a more natural way.

A melatonin deficiency is actually caused by a magnesium deficiency. Therefore, if you give your body the magnesium that it needs, it will begin to produce the melatonin that it needs to support your sleep.

That’s why this lotion works so well. It supports your body by providing you with the magnesium that you need, treating the root problem instead of just the symptoms.

I will always and forever recommend Earthley’s Good Night Lotion for any and all sleep problems. Like I said, the blend of magnesium and lavender is what makes it work, and when I say it works miracles, I’m not exaggerating! It’s safe on all ages, and it’s just as effective for adults as it is for babies!

If you’re tired but can’t get to sleep, this lotion is for you. If you need something to help your child sleep through the night, this lotion is for you. If your household just feels restless, this lotion is for you.

Bottom line: if anyone your home is struggling with sleep, you need this miracle lotion.

Have you tried this Good Night Lotion? What natural remedies do you use to help your kids sleep?
