Caleb works hard for our family, providing for us and leading us closer to Christ. But sometimes, he has a bad day at work, or he’s exhausted, or things just aren’t going his way and he becomes discouraged.

As his wife, I am called to be his encourager. I can encourage him with words from my heart, but even more powerfully, I can encourage him with Scripture from God’s heart. That’s when I see his heart uplifted the most.

The following verses are ones of hope and encouragement. When your husband has a rough day or just needs a pick-me-up, share these with him and pray them over him. Fill his mind with the Word of God and his heart will follow.

What a great post of encouragement! I’m printing off these scriptures with a written prayer for him and putting them in random places my husband will find them such as his gym bag, by the coffeemaker in the morning, on the steering wheel, in his coat pocket etc. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the idea of not only praying these over him, but writing them on the board in our command center, or leaving him a sweet note. He needs to know that God and I are on his side!
